We had an awesome time on our trip! We loved exploring the nearby museums and hitting up a local golf course. Everything was great, but keep in mind that the wifi can be spotty. Also, be prepared for limited dining options around the area but it’s perfect for a budget trip!

One issue we had was that the TV in our room didn’t work at all, which was a letdown. The staff told us it was our fault, which was frustrating.

great location

motel 6-washington, dc has a really nice front desk staff. they were helpful and friendly, which made a difference. plus, being close to the downtown attractions is a great perk. housekeeping surprised me by changing the sheets and cleaning the bathroom, which was a nice touch.

The stay was decent for a budget trip. I loved the warm atmosphere in the lobby and how the friendly staff greeted us upon arrival, making us feel welcomed. Being in a convenient location allowed us to explore nearby museums and local attractions easily. However, I did find the lack of comfortable seating options in public areas a bit inconvenient during our downtime.

Avoid this like the plague!

So there was free parking, which is nice, and I appreciated the location being close to the Metro. And the housekeeping, they did just enough to make it somewhat decent, they didn’t totally ignore their job, which was minimal.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.
